Students of the aerospace and mechanical engineering programmes can carry out their Bachelor's or Master's thesis in my group, on topics ranging from fundamental compressible turbulence to space launchers, rocket propulsion, wind energy and combustion. Master's theses typically involve high-fidelity simulations with our in-house GPU solver STREAmS or commercial/open-source CFD codes, and may include a research period abroad (University of Texas at Dallas) or at ENEA. Since 2018 I have supervised more than 170 theses (136 Bachelor's and 36 Master's), several of which led to conference papers and journal publications.
